Zedeal Annonce
Classifieds marketplace for Mauritius with AI-assisted listing creation, advanced search and filters, real-time buyer–seller messaging, seller reviews and business pages.
Context
Zedeal Group Hub Ltd wanted a trusted local marketplace where people and businesses in Mauritius can buy and sell property, vehicles, services, electronics and more, or post jobs, with prices shown in Mauritian rupees.
What we built
- A bilingual (English/French) marketplace with category browsing, search and filters by category, price, location, condition, date and seller
- AI-assisted publishing: category suggestion, field extraction, copy generation, text improvement and listing translation, with usage quotas
- Real-time messaging between buyers and sellers, notifications, favourites and seller reviews
- Business pages, listing reports and moderation before publication
- A loyalty programme whose points boost a listing’s visibility or unlock extra AI help
- Sign-in by email, phone number or Google
- An admin back-office for listings, categories and custom fields, companies, reports, roles, SEO and AI settings, plus a public read-only API and an RSS feed
Technology
Next.js and Tailwind CSS on the front end, a NestJS API with TypeORM and PostgreSQL, Socket.IO for real-time features, and the Vercel AI SDK with OpenAI models behind the assistant.
