Context

The Ministry of Hydraulic Resources and Electricity leads the water and energy policy of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It needed an official website presenting its vision, projects and regulations to citizens, partners and investors, in French and English.

What we built

• A French/English institutional website: the ministry, the minister’s message, the public bodies under its supervision, partners and contact details
• Sector pages for electricity and water resources, projects, national policies, regulatory texts, approvals and licences
• A mapping section on the country’s hydropower potential (about 94 GW, 3,348 hydropower sites identified) and the priority sites open to investors
• A news section with a news ticker, a link to the ministry’s X account and a dedicated investment area

Technology

A Next.js and React website whose pages are rendered on the server, for fast loading and good visibility in search engines.
